It is a pleasant read and romantic but not over the edge on the sex---just enough for me anyway to be enjoyable.
Really enjoyed this story and am trying to find all her books because her characters are well fleshed out and the story compelling. Love her slant on history!
I truly loved reading The Highlander. I found the characters enchanting and they held my interest. I also write Historical Romance so when I run across one that I enjoy I am excited to review and tell others.
Beautiful writing, although not enough detailed in some scenes, it kept me going until I finished it. I do have a problem with the lack of actual love scenes, they didn't actually connect until about 70% of the book. I truly wish there was more heat and detail in the one encounter that the writer deemed necessary in order to produce a happy ending.
Now this is the book the writer should have written a full book about, It had me in tears. Really saw the full potential of the writer in this one. She should have continued this story before she wrote about the others.

This book had it ALL,passion,love,great sex,and a great story line. When Dillon and Leonora accepted the love they shared and let the heart rule l was also being to see a future for them.I was overwhelmed by the violence but was glad when Dillon save Leonora . For those of you who love happy ending and strong and sexy women then this book will fulfilled your needs.Great book.
